Jacobs has a longstanding history in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia dating back to 1945 when we first embarked on projects in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Over the decades, Jacobs’ focus has evolved to encompass urban planning, social infrastructure, water, transportation and ports projects across the Middle East.
Today, our team is engaged on transformative projects such as NEOM’s The Line, Red Sea International Airport and King Abdulaziz Port, all of which are set to transform the economy and society in line with Vision 2030 — Saudi Arabia’s bold plan to diversify its economy, foster innovation and create a vibrant society. By aligning our efforts with Vision 2030, we contribute to the development of sustainable communities whilst driving economic growth and social progress for the Kingdom's future generations.

Right now, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is going through a period of unprecedented change as it seeks to transform its economy and society in line with Vision 2030 — a bold blueprint to diversify its economy, develop its infrastructure, cherish its national identity and create a better life for all Saudis.
Vision 2030 is driving an enormous amount of growth and change for the country — and is creating exciting opportunities for Jacobs. Rua Al-Madinah Holding, Superblock 4
Rua Al Madinah urban development project is poised to become a cornerstone of Madinah’s urban environment and a celebration of culture and history in the region. The project includes a collection of hotels, residential buildings and diverse hospitality offerings.

King Abdulaziz Port Mega-Container Hub Transformation
Saudi Ports Authority embarked on a development and modernization program to transform the King Abdulaziz Port into a mega-container hub, increasing capacity to an estimated annual handling capacity of 7.5 million Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEU) when the planned expansion works are fully completed.

King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services
The shipyard complex includes offshore structures fabrication, new ship building and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities. It aims to leverage the rapidly growing maritime needs in the Kingdom and build local manufacturing and design capabilities.

Red Sea Global, Red Sea International Airport
The Red Sea is poised to become an exquisite tourism destination that will position Saudi Arabia on the global tourism map. To access this new region, The Red Sea International Airport (RSI) will act as the gateway to the Red Sea archipelago and resorts.

NEOM, THE LINE
THE LINE is a futuristic-looking linear urban development that has been described as “a civilization revolution.” It completely reimagines the future of sustainable urban living in harmony with nature. THE LINE is one of three regions that make up NEOM.
Delivering Vision 2030
Our support to the Kingdom's Vision 2030 also extends to our joint venture with Public Investment Fund and Aramco, JASARA.
JASARA is a professional program and construction management company for social infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. Through JASARA, we’re working alongside local authorities and government departments to reshape urban landscapes and improve the quality of life for residents.
Recently, we’ve been appointed alongside JASARA as a Delivery Partner on NEOM – THE LINE. As delivery partner, Jacobs and JASARA will work with NEOM, other delivery partners and key stakeholders to realize the vision for this project and deliver a lasting legacy for the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
